Five Articles about the History of Whatton and Aslockton | |

Five articles have been added three concern the history of Whatton and two of Aslockton Two are brief summaries - The History of Whatton - Early Settlement and the History of Whatton - The Norman Heritage. The third is a a transcript of the Whatton entry in the Gentleman's Magazine of 1792 and provides a fairly comprehensive description of the Church before it was 'renovated' by Thomas Dickinson Hall in the later 1800s. The fourth article concerns the opening of the New Rooms in Aslockton in 1914. The fifth and final article is this group is a transcript of the Interim report about the archeaolgy found on Mill Lane, Aslockton in 1993.
