A meeting of this body was held in the Mission-room on Tuesday evening, April 16th, when Messrs. Bates, Fox, Hall, Jones, Parnham, Sharpe, Wilson and the Clerk, Mr. H. Hoyte, were present.
Mr. MH Hall was elected chairman, and Messrs Jones and Bates overseers.
It was decided to sign the petition in favour of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Electric Power Bill.
Mr. Fox brought forward the question of trustees for the field of pasture land belonging to Scarrington and Aslockton, but nothing definite was arrived at. The Chairman undertook to obtain from the person having custody of the parish awards a receipt for same.
