| Last Monday evening, a splendid supper was provided for members of the Aslockton Pig Club, and any friends that liked to join them, at their club-house, the Cranmer Arms. Upwards of sixty sat down at seven o'clock and partook of all the good things the worthy hostess had prepared for them. After supper, a pleasant evening was passed with singing, &c. In conclusion, a vote of thanks was passed for the admirable manner in which Mr. and Mrs. Tomlinson had arranged everything. |
