Inquest - 11th January 1869 |
An inquest was held by Mr. Wm. Wallis, deputy coroner, at the Cranmer Arms Inn, on the 13th inst., on the body of Emma Annie Parnham, aged 17 months, who died suddenly on the 11th. inst. In the evening of the latter day, deceased become suddenly convulsed, and Dr. Smyth, of Bingham was sent for, but before that gentleman could arrive, death had occurred. Dr. Smyth was of the opinion that deceased was suffering from an attack of measles which, being suppressed, caused the convulsions and consequent death. The jury return a verdict is accordance with such opinion. |
