An inquest was held on Monday at the "Griffin's Head," Whatton, on the body of William Slater, aged seventy-four.
It appeared from the evidence that deceased, after partaking heartily of supper, and going to bed in usual health, on Friday night, died suddenly on Saturday morning while attempting to dress.
