Inquest - William Slater

An inquest was held on Monday at the "Griffin's Head," Whatton, on the body of William Slater, aged seventy-four.

It appeared from the evidence that deceased, after partaking heartily of supper, and going to bed in usual health, on Friday night, died suddenly on Saturday morning while attempting to dress.

The jury returned a verdict of "Death from heart disease."
